The A. SORIANO AIR CORPORATION (ASAC) is one of the two general aviation arms of the A. Soriano Corporation (ANSCOR), a management company with interests in aviation, real estate, manufacturing, travel, resort development and port operations. From aircraft maintenance/engineering and charter operations as its main lines of business, ASAC is now focused on Hangar Leasing and International Ground Handling as the company's primary activities. ASAC (formerly part of the A. Soriano Aviation Inc. - ASAI) has been actively engaged in International Aircraft Ground Handling Operations since the early 1980's, primarily to handle the overflight and entry/exit needs of the various aircraft of ANSCOR's subsidiaries doing overseas flights. From the year 1989, it began serving the flight and ground handling requirements of UNIVERSAL WEATHER and BASEOPS INTERNATIONAL. In 1997, it added JEPPESEN DATA PLAN of both the United States and Europe among its key clients. More recently, COLT INTERNATIONAL, PACIFIC COAST FORECASTING, SKYPLAN, OVERSEAS AIR SUPPORT and other reputable handling organizations were included in its growing list of customers. This has been achieved due to the company's deliberate and consistent efforts to offer not only a comprehensive range of services to the private and non-commercial sectors of the international aviation community, but a truly personalized one as well. Composed of a lean and mean group of dedicated frontliners with the background, proven expertise and requisite licenses, the ASAC International Ground Handling Department is acknowledged as one of the finest in the local industry.
